Kids in the study reported on which activities they did most regularly beyond school gym course – basketball for boys and running for girls. While few met recommendations founded in 2008 for activity that raises the heart rate and enables you to breathe harder, most said they did at least an full hour of exercise at that level through the previous week. Overall, about 25 % said they got an hour of that sort of exercise every day Obese kids were less active than normal-weight kids.
